RE: Any RV-unfriendly cities along the US 101 in Oregon?

There are RV Parks along 101 that would appreciate the business.

RE: MASTERS - Camping Near Augusta National

There are almost no Full Hook up campgrounds in the area. There are a couple of State Park Campgrounds without full hook-ups. When we visit family in the area we stay at Boss Rv Park in Wrens, Ga. It has full hook ups.

RE: Wireless Provider Conspiracy Theory?

Maybe you should think about it less. We don't want you running around in a tin foil hat.
Enjoy your new phone.

RE: Is this a common 'symptom' of full-timing?

You only need to worry, if you don't figure it out until AFTER you dive in.

RE: What to look for in a full time RV spot?

Full hook-ups. Large space. Usually a pull through has a rig or traffic in front of you and behind you. You may find that a back-in offer more privacy and space, plus the likelihood of people walking through your site is much lower. We like to have wi-fi and a clear view for satellite reception. A view.
After a while, staying in different places and different parks you will learn what you like and don't like.

RE: Wireless Printer

I have a wireless printer in my RV. It has nothing to do with the campgrounds wi-fi. You just have to have a wireless router with a connection for a printer. It does use wi-fi, but it only needs to have a connection between the computer and the router - internet is not necessary at all. I have Apple equipment, but I'm sure it would work with Windows.
You could also utilize bluetooth technology.

RE: Water heater temp. adjustment?

I have an Atwood and it does not have a temp control. I do not know about all Atwood models. You may want to goto Atwood's website or call them and ask.

RE: Verizon coverage in yellowstone?

You can get some limited phone coverage, but I highly doubt that you will get broadband coverage.
You can go to Verizon's website and look at the coverage locater to find out for sure, but I'd be very surprised if there is coverage.

RE: Grand Canyon campgrounds (for big rigs)

Trailer Village. The campground is nothing special, but full hook-ups and it is onside the National Park. You can walk to the Canyon and the shuttle stops at the campground.

RE: Big Bend National Park (SW Texas)

We have a 35' 5er and stayed inside the national park. There are two campgrounds together that will accommodate you. On has hook-ups ( parking lot) the other doesn't. Rio Grande Village I believe.

Thanks for this post. Very true and very nasty.
Perhaps someone could explain the reasoning for leaving a biological disaster in a public restroom.

RE: Niagara Falls- Where to stay? Update!!

We stayed at the Campark on the Canadian side. It had plenty of space and full hook-ups. It was nothing special but worked out fine. The Shuttle bus stops at the campground.
I would not try driving the 5er by the falls. You probably want to disconnect before going to the falls.

RE: Height regrets?

We got an Excel that is 11'11" so we wouldn't have to worry about height.
While it is a nice piece of mind, I don't know that we have been close on height anywhere.
I would say that you can usually work around height problems, the 5er's layout and how it meets your needs/wants is more important.
